Betty Marlow graduated from high school at RIF Valley Academy Kijabe; Kenya in 1971. She graduated from Dallas Baptist College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing in May 1975 and within the same year, she passed her Board Exam an became a Registered Nurse.

In 1980 she received her diploma as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Gynecology, Family Planning and Prenatal Care from the University Of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas Women’s Health Care Advanced Nurse’s Practitioner Training Program, Southwestern Medical School.

Betty worked for the Greater Dallas Family Planning Clinics until December 1980 when she and her husband moved to Harlingen, TX. Betty has worked at Valley Women's Clinic since January 1981.

In 1991 Betty completed a Nurse Practitioner Colposcopy training program and is also trained in Cystometrograms and Urodynamic testing.

Betty also has privileges at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
